The Launch of Maison Yoshiki at the Mandarin Oriental in Paris
There are two emperors in Japan: the politician, and Yoshiki, the megastar. Rock metal drummer, classical piano virtuoso, designer of both Kimono and drinks, manga soundtrack author… Yoshiki’s artistic universe knows no boundaries. He fills stadiums and concert halls all over the world and yet, somewhat surprisingly, yesterday evening he welcomed a small panel of journalists to the Mandarin Oriental, where he celebrated the launch of Maison Yoshiki, his fashion label. We spotted Ogee, Antigone Schilling, Diane Pernet, Maida Boina, David Vesper, Catherine Baba, Ariane Theunissen, Arthur Mayadoux and Timothée Grand-Chavin, among others.
