Richard Mille goes at the speed of light. Or rather at the speed of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the greatest sprinter of all time. The Jamaican champion, 36 years old, joins the large family of the haute horlogerie brand by showing off the iconic RM 07-04 Automatic at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. “She is a timeless model. – says the champion –  It harmonizes with every person. This is what I want, the perfect synergy, as if I were wearing nothing.” Fraser-Pryce is an athletics legend: she has dominated the 100 meters in recent years, winning more gold and silver than any other sprinter in history. Nicknamed “Pocket Rocket”, she is now preparing for a new ambitious goal: conquering Paris with the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport on her wrist. “It’s about overcoming barriers! – explained the star – People always told me what I could or couldn’t do, but I wanted to be part of a group that knows time and where age doesn’t limit your progress. Ultimately, we have the same vision when it comes to our heritage. What we want to achieve is timeless.” But winning gold at the next Olympics won’t be Shelly-Ann’s only challenge. Another equally intriguing test is upon us: pairing the salmon-colored watch with one of his signature hair colors that he shows off on the track. “It’s a partnership! – says Fraser-Pryce – When I put myself out there it’s about bringing out the part of me that can best show this unique watch around the world!”.
