This isn’t Takashi Murakami’s first ride with Hublot, however, the Japanese artist has taken the collaboration one step further. Until now, Murakami’s colourful, floral and slightly childish universe had been mainly displayed on the back of the dials. Here, it becomes a full-fledged sculpture. Inspired by the silhouette of a daisy, the button becomes a floral body, and the petals a watch box. We are facing a masterfully executed and effective exercise, by far the most interesting among the previous collaborations.
