Galerie Negropontes Celebrates “Alchimies”
From September 15 to December 22, Galerie Negropontes explores the alchemists’ essential idea of ” raising what is imperfect to the level of perfection”. Entitled “Alchimies”, this two-part exhibition begins with a selection of works – sculptures, paintings, installations and rare pieces of furniture – by eleven artists, enriched by a second phase featuring a presentation of jewellery creations. From October 5, the dialogue between the works of the gallery’s artists and the jewels creates an unprecedented meeting of forms and materials, tending towards the search for perfection, a form of alchemy. A must-see exhibition featuring the work of artists like Agnès Baillon, Eric de Dormael, Jean-Christophe Malaval, Perin&Perrin, Benjamin Poulanges and Marc Deloche, andElena Syraka.
