Coperni Sublimates Classics with State-of-the-art Technology
16 metres beneath the City of Light’s cobblestones, the Ircam – Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music – reverberated the frenzied beats emanating from the latest Coperni Fashion Show. Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer, the visionary duo at the helm of the brand, transcended once again the codes of the fashion industry with a thrilling show. Their passion for technology and experimentation has already brought us exhilarating catwalks, blending artistic performances and stellar appearances like that of fashion icon Bella Hadid last year. When you reach such a level, the question arises: how do you transcend fashion once you’ve already redefined its codes? The answer lies in the inexhaustible inventiveness of Coperni, which once again won over the public thanks to an even more futuristic and unexpected show.
The auditorium, equipped with a modular structure, showcased the impressive scale of its engineering; besides Pierre Boulez’s architectural genius, it was the lightning speed with which the sound propagated that thrilled the crowd. We bore witness to a daring marriage of effortless sportswear and elegant tailoring. The Coperni silhouettes for Spring-Summer 2024, are an ode to sophisticated fashion, meticulously crafted and neatly cut. Shirts reveal open sleeves that stretch elegantly well beyond the hands, exuding an irrésistible allure. The blazers, adorned with imposing lapels, flirt with extravagance and are adorned with a mysterious pin called the ‘AI Pin,’ a creation of the California-based company Humane, soon to be on the market.”
Always one step ahead, the Maison doesn’t merely put on a runway show, but transcends all expectations, delivering an immersive experience seamlessly blending fashion and technology. As the fashion world holds its breath, Coperni keeps proving that the future of haute couture lies in the infinite exploration of new creative horizons.
Spotted on the runway: Deva Cassel, the heiress of Italian elegance, Naomie Campbell, the catwalk queen who needs no introduction, and the young film talent Eden Dambrine. Not a surprising line-up for Coperni, as they embody this blend of timeless style and a thirst for new conquests.
Many first-rate personalities were in attendance, including Pierre-Ange Carlotti, Ludovic de Saint-Sernin, Emily Ratajkowski, Paul Hameline, Nix Lecourt-Mansion, Clara Cornet and Lolita Jacobs.
