One year from now, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will officially open, and to start the countdown, the event’s official timekeeper, Omega, has launched a brand new timepiece with a touch of gold. The Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition was created as an exclusive tribute to the 32nd Games. This edition of the Olympic Games will mark the brand’s 31st time as Official Timekeeper, a role the company has held since 1932. The timepiece is made of stainless steel and 18K Moonshine™ gold, a yellow gold alloy owned by Omega that offers a softer hue and high resistance to fading. Gold was used primarily for the watch’s bezel, which features a raised laser-textured diving scale and a single dot of Super-LumiNova at 12 o’clock. The laser-etched dial also offers an eye-catching look. Made of white ceramic, it features a matte finish with raised polished waves.
