At the Height of Paris Fashion Week, Gagosian and Gagosian Quarterly Magazine Unveil the Exhibition “Andy Warhol: Silver Screen”
In the midst of Paris Couture Week, Gagosian Gallery and its Quarterly Magazine were delighted to inaugurate Andy Warhol: Silver Screen, an exhibition featuring three major works by the American artist dating from 1962. The evening also provided an opportunity to present the book Avedon 100, published as a companion piece to the exhibition bearing the same name and conceived to commemorate the centenary of the photographer’s birth. The event brought together 150 figures from the art world to discuss the importance of his extensive career. Derek Blasberg, Natasha Lyonne, Serena Cattaneo Adorno, Olivier Bialobos, Dasha Zhukova, Bianca Brandolini, Gaia Repossi and Bruno Frisoni were among those taking part in this fascinating artistic narrative.
