Design Parade opens its doors and celebrates creation this week-end
Created in 2006, with Andrée Putman as its patron, Design Parade Hyères aims to share contemporary design with the public and professionals alike. At the heart of the festival is the competition for the prize, which presents ten young designers each year offering them a unique showcase and support. The festival is also a time for sharing, meeting, and discovery. Every summer, the Villa Noailles organizes a two-part Design Parade:
For the launch of the 7th edition of the interior architecture section on June 22 in Toulon, , the jury, among others, includes fashion designer Rabih Kayrouz and lʼOfficine universelle Buly co-founder Victoire de Taillac. Architect Aline Asmar dʼAmman presided over the grand jury.
The following day in Hyères, the 17th edition of the design section was inaugurated under the presidency of designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, alongside a jury of distinguished guests including Marion Mailaender, Guillaume Bardet and Jean-Marie Massaud.
The jurors in both disciplines will be tasked with awarding various prizes to the most convincing projects among the 10 candidates per competition in the running this year.
During these 2 inaugural days with Jean-Pierre Blanc and Pascale Mussard, we met Ronan Bouroullec, Jacques Toubon, India Mahdavi, Alexandre Benjamin Navet, Pierre Frey, Anne Racine, Pierre Yovanovitch, Stéphane Wargnier, and Sylvie Grumbach.
