Philippe Starck and Dior present “Mister Dior”, the spouse of their first collaborative reinterpretation of the iconic Médaillon chair, “Miss Dior”. Imagined as a tribute to the emblematic figure of Monsieur Dior, this furniture collection embodies the essence of the Maison and has innately become part of it. “After Miss Dior, it was natural to expand the family” says Philippe Starck. Symbolizing a marriage of exceptional savoir-faire and the most advanced technologies, these furnishings, available in different materials and colours (from aluminium to pink, from black to Toile de Jouy fluorescent orange) are surrounded by a new family: a collection of couture furnishings enriched by younger brothers and sisters, including tables of different sizes and stools, all extremely refined. Elevated to objects of art, these timelessly elegant creations are presented from April 18 to 23 at Palazzo Citterio, an 18th-century building located in the heart of Milan.
