Delveaux’s Bags Elevated to Works of Art
The leather luxury goods manufacturer Delvaux has taken over one of the most beautiful private mansions in Paris and invited artist Ben Storms to confront his brutalism against the Parisian mouldings. The result is a chic and radical installation that served as the stage for the unveiling of Delvaux’s latest creations. Metal cushions and stone columns become pillars that elevate the bags into works of art, turning the exhibition into an art gallery where you can wear the pieces on your arm. New materials, new proportions, new colours yet silhouettes remain timeless. Delvaux’s creations aren’t oblivious to contemporary currents, they navigate trends without being diluted by them. Many fashion and media personalities flocked to this hybrid venue where people work by day and party by night. Among them, we met Delvaux’s CEO Jean Marc Loubier, Pauline Lefevre, Mara Lafontan, Tao Liang, Chloé Lecareux, and Kathy Alliou.
