Rabih Kayrouz Presents a Charming Couture Collection
After a three-year long absence, Rabih Kayrouz is back in Paris to introduce a new poetic, thoughtful and modern collection. The Lebanese designer has always taken care of women and likes to design clothes that accompany them in their daily life. In this large and beautiful residence in the Parc Monceau, models appear to be wandering around, strolling, or perhaps dreaming in Kayrouz’s clothes. Yet the pieces were absolutely modern. Impeccable tayloring suits intersected with anorak and baklava ensembles unleashing charming dresses. But Kayrouz also thought of dressing the women, in the evening. Flawlessly accomplished drapés, glittering strapless dresses and oversized shoulders testify to a certain mastery of modelling so typical of couture – the collection was an ode to their subtlety. A dreamy woman, a woman in love, Kayrouz takes us for a few minutes into a world of beauty.
