Olivier Masse’s Epicurean Golfers Contend for the Balles Étoilées Trophy at the Golf de Joyenval

An event to swing by for all golf and gastronomy lovers. It is in the spirit of bringing together these two great passions of his that Olivier Masse conceived the “Les Balles étoilées” trophy. The concept? A day structured around a golf competition, with gourmet breaks involving the finest tastings, topped off with dinner prepared by the top chefs of the 12 Michelin-starred partner restaurants.

Designed to bring together the “epicurean golfers”, those passionate about the art of golf and the palate (and fit enough to work through each round of the busy programme) the day started with breakfast in the clubhouse of the Golf de Joyenval in the outskirts of Paris, Chambourcy. The morning festivities continued on the green with an 18-hole scramble. In pairs, participants and star chefs hit the balls with their best swings. An effort that was soon rewarded with many exceptional dishes. Oysters, salmon, caviar, truffles, Château Malherbes and Billecart Salmon champagne delighted the enthusiasts, who were delighted to share this starry moment.
