Elie Saab dazzles us with his thousand lights
There is something glorious, spectacular, dramatic about Elie Saab’s kingdom. And this is precisely what we expect from haute couture. Challenging, surprising, impressive. The new collection, which for the first time also featured a few men’s silhouettes, is inspired by the first hours of dawn. When warmed by the emerging rays, nature emerges from its nocturnal torpor. Silk threads, stone embroidery: the Lebanese couturier never says no to a little bit of extra. His dresses flourish on the runway and we rejoice every time we see them. Olivia Palermo, Leonie Hanne and Chriselle Lim in attendance, were particularly attentive.
