Officine Générale Spring-Summer 2023: the quintessence of elegance
It was in the garden of the Musée des Archives Nationales, at Hôtel de Soubise, that Pierre Mahéo showed his latest men’s and women’s collections. This year marks an important milestone for the Parisian label: the house will celebrate its first decade. But no parties or big festivities planned: Pierre prefers to keep it simple, and focus, as in his clothes, on the essentials because by the end of the year the brand will open seven new boutiques. The Spring-Summer 2023 collection is therefore based on classics: suits with soft cuts, fresco knits and light poplin shirts. In terms of color, this season Pierre has a big crush on espresso brown, a pink that is neither too pale nor too dark, a celadon green, a soft lilac, and a blue that recalls the color of the sky. On the accessory side, he sublimated the women’s looks with head scarves, and he also asked his friend, jewelry designer Marc Deloche, to accessorize the pieces. In short, an elegant and refined collection, that we will all want to wear next season.
