“Design Forever”: ELLE Decor Italia presents its new exhibit in Palazzo Bovara
On the occasion of the 60th Salone del Mobile, ELLE Decor Italia presented a timeless design exhibit entitled “Design Forever” in Palazzo Bovara, a historical building in Milan. This year, the exhibition set up by Calvi Brambilla in collaboration with Antonio Perazzi invites visitors to reflect on design that resists the test of time with a journey involving more than fifty firms and one hundred design products. The exhibit questions the design’s relation to time: how present and past can coexist in a contemporary home? For ELLE Decor Italia, the answer is the quality of design. Inspired by the Bovara Palace’s historical soul, the itinerary enters into dialogue with its venue and explores its chronological and stylistic layers from four cornerstones: Pure, Mobile, Bold and Hybrid. On Friday June 10, the setting of the exhibit turned into the most perfect venue for a party where journalists, designers, influencers and insiders celebrated the long-awaited comeback of the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
