Les Beaux-Arts de Paris presents “WE PAINT!”
Painting is coming back on the contemporary art scene with the new exhibition “WE PAINT!” at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Conceived under the independent curatorship of Cristiano Raimondi, who also created the scenography inspired by the Italian painter Giorgio De Chirico’s “le piazze”, the project brings together thirty-three French and foreign artists, who won over the past ten years the prestigious Jean-François Prat Prize. Among the artists exhibited are painters who have made their name in Paris, including Farah Atassi, Raphaëlle Ricol, Marine Wallon or Nicolas Chardon, and international stars such as Toyin Ojih Odutola and Avery Singer, all of them turned up for the preview last week. The exhibition will be open to the public at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris until April 24.
