A night in 1986 Paris with the new fragrance by Les Bains Guerbois
Dating back to 1885, the story of Les Bains continues to be written through an inspired olfactory narrative initiated in 2017. With nearly a dozen fragrances already embodying the most significant years of the Rue du Bourg l’Abbé establishment, Jean-Pierre Marois just presented the newest addition to his fragrance collection: 1986 Eclectique. The fragrance designed by Bertrand Duchaufour is a tribute to the great hours of the club Les Bains Douches. It is an ode to the Paris of the 80s and to the people who used to meet in front of the club’s steps in the hope of getting in. It was an eclectic tribe where all ages and styles could meet in a party atmosphere. An orchestra led by the legendary Marilyn, the most famous bouncer of that time. She even made a comeback this week on the occasion of this very special night. Before the perfume’s official launch on October 27, Jean-Pierre Marois invited his Parisian friends to travel back in time for an evening to soak up this new fragrance, a clever blend of cardamom, black pepper, tobacco and honey.
