A seat at Pierre-Louis Mascia’s table at L’Éclaireur
A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Toulouse and an illustrator for prestigious fashion houses, Pierre-Louis Mascia founded his eponymous brand in 2007. He first created scarves (his emblematic object that stands out for its mix of motifs), before expanding into ready-to-wear, accessories and decoration. For the launch of his Mascia Atelier collection, which coincides with the autumn-winter 2020 season inspired by vampire tales, the designer received an invitation from Armand Hadida, founder of L’Éclaireur, to exhibit from February 11th to 13th in his emblematic boutique at 10 rue Herold. For this presentation-exhibition, Pierre-Louis Mascia surrounded himself with a group of artists and designers who he himself invited to present their creations in collaboration including Alexandre Korobov, Atelier Février, Francesco Brigida, Marie Christophe and Jean Luc Favéro. The result: a true bohemian universe, made up of textiles, paintings, photographs and drawings, that the guests (including designer Bruno Frisoni and photographer François Halard) met for a dinner in total intimacy. And for an extra Mascia touch: each guest was able to leave at the end of the evening with a plaid gift made by the designer to take his inimitable lifestyle home.
