Lanvin brings “Beach Birds” to Paris for men’s Fall/Winter 2020 show
Lanvin Creative Director Bruno Sialelli drew inspiration from Corto Maltese, the eponymous adventurous sailor of a series of comic books from the ‘70s, for the Lanvin Men’s Fall-Winter 2020-2021 show. Titled “Beach Birds,” the show brought nautical-chic style to the National Dance Center just on the outskirts of the city. With Luka Sabbat and Gigi and Bella Hadid on the runway and star-powered guests including Tommy Genesis, Evan Mock, Joey Starr, Nicolas Maury, Hafsia Herzi and more in the front row, it was a colorful, patterned, creative ode to animation and a vintage ‘70s throwback to remember.
