“Mother” Pat McGrath arrives at Sephora Champs-Elysées
Stop everything! The legendary Pat McGrath has arrived in Paris at Sephora. The legendary make-up artist behind the looks of some of the greatest fashion shows, Pat McGrath is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated icons of make-up today. For years, the British make-up artist has been exercising her backstage talents, brilliantly moving from more beautiful “nude” looks to daring creations supported by the use of metallic make-up which has become her signature today. This love of all things “glam” led her to launch her own brand Pat McGrath Labs in 2017. The was a huge success from the start with celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Colman and Emily Ratajkowski singing its praises. The brand was officially launched in France last November exclusively at Sephora. With Paris Fashion Week underway, Sephora used the occasion to celebrate the official launch in its flagship store on the Champs-Élysées. Pat McGrath arrived to applause and flashes of light before joining her muses Shanina Shayk, Violet Chachki and Damian Hurley – photographed for the campaign by the great Steven Meisel. Arriving with a group of models wearing some of her most iconic looks (including the iconic full glitter face), Pat McGrath then offered the crowd a makeup demonstration, an opportunity to show off the endless possibilities of her Mothership palettes or MatteTrance lipstick line… #SephoraLovesPatMcGrathLabs
