From its beginnings, Number magazine has highlighted the work of the most advanced fashion photographers of their time. Among them, the Norwegian Sølve Sundsbø, a regular contributor to the magazine for twenty years, to whom we owe one of the emblematic covers illustrating Natalia Vodianova’s face with a pink heart. Today, the Studio des Acacias highlights the visionary and experimental work of the photographer for the magazine directed by Babeth Djian. This is Sølve Sundsbø’s very first exhibition in France, an opportunity for photography enthusiasts to (re)discover the approach of the man who made his debut in the 90s with the great Nick Knight. It must be said that the Studio des Acacias is the ideal setting for such an exhibition: created by Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, President of Mazarine Group, the studio has over the years welcomed photography legends such as Guy Bourdin, Richard Avedon or Irving Penn. A legacy in which Sølve Sundsbø clearly fits.
