A month ago, Christine Phal and Carine Tissot inaugurated the Drawing Lab, a creative space dedicated to drawing nestled in the brand new Drawing Hotel at 17, rue de Richelieu in the first arrondissement of the capital. Today, the mother-daughter duo is celebrating the inauguration of their now indispensable Drawing Now show, the first in Europe dedicated to contemporary drawing, which this year brought together no less than 400 artists represented by 72 international galleries. Its artistic director Philippe Piguet presented the exhibition “À fleur de peau” at the opening, and the event attracted art professionals such as art critic Marie Maertens, gallery owners Anne de Villepoix and Frédéric Bugada, and representatives of the younger generation such as Cyrielle Gulacsy. At the end of the inauguration evening, the Drawing Now prize was awarded to the French artist Lionel Sabatté. Drawing Now, March 22-26 at the Temple Floor
