Annette Giacometti Prize 2013

Since 2003, the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation has been defending artists and creation through a coherent policy of promoting intellectual property and combating art fraud and counterfeiting. This includes in particular awareness-raising and information actions aimed at the general public.

The Annette Giacometti Prize, created in 2011, rewards each year a recent initiative promoting the rights of works and artists and helping to raise public awareness of the problem of counterfeit works of art. It concerns any initiative worldwide that has promoted the rights of works and artists in an innovative and well-known manner.

The winning project is chosen among a few projects selected by a jury, composed of six experts and the previous year’s winner.

Congratulations to Curtis Dowling and Patricia Cohen, the winners of this 2013 edition.
