The State of Heaven bears witness to the attention paid by artists, poets and philosophers to the physical, moral and political circumstances of our world. This new season of the Palais de Tokyo will allow, in one semester, to discover more than ten proposals or exhibitions on this theme.
For the first part of the program, five modules are set up to testify to fears, alerts, proposals, revolts, or utopias of reality : New ghost stories’, proposed by Georges Didi-Huberman and Arno Gisinger,’Mo’Swallow’ by David Douard,’Terre de départ’ by Angelika Markul (Laureate of the SAM Prize for Contemporary Art 2012), It is a co-production of the National Centre for Fine Arts, and finally Family Business, a project initiated by the mischievous Maurizio Cattelan.
Last night was a vernissage, and the All Paris of art was there. Unmistakable, like any good happening at the Palais de Tokyo.
