Last night the Gallery of Galleries painted’Multiple Ideas’, an exhibition built around eight works in limited edition and imagined by six personalities.
For this college project, Mélanie Scarciglia and Christophe Boutin, art publishers, selected eight multiples. From these limited edition works, designer Victoire Simonney interprets the worlds of each artist and offers a choice of outfits and accessories from some thirty brands. Jean-Baptiste Charpenay-Limon, an object finder, composes an eclectic offer and creates an intimate space. The whole is staged by a scenography by architect Pauline Marchetti that respects the unique atmosphere of an exhibition space and breathes the warm atmosphere of the boutique. Everything then finds its place around the multiple that radiates the elements that surround it.
At the invitation of Elsa Janssen, Director of Space, the contributors are invited to react to the works of eight contemporary French and international artists: John Armleder, Pierre Bismuth, Elvire Bonduelle, Daniel Gordon, Jonathan Monk, Rafaël Rozendaal, Josh Smith and Pier Stockholm. A multiform result, to be discovered before September 12th.
