Presentation of the Lesage x Lacoste collection

Two 100% French savoir-faire for two illustrious houses with distinctly distinct DNA: Lesage and Lacoste combine the time of a collection that takes the spirit of sportswear from the crocodile to the vif by adorning it with lightness of couture details, fruits of the unequalled expertise of the little hands of the famous Parisian workshops. Felipe Oliveira Baptista, artistic director of Lacoste since 2010, provoked a daring rapprochement on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the iconic women’s polo shirt. To the aphorisms and other slogans drawn from the Lacoste archives, claiming sportsmanship and fair play, are added the themes of the universe of the game in all its forms: track, seduction, video, graffiti…

From a jungle with curved lines of an Art Deco typeface, to a Pac-Man set or the hip-hop singers’ bling locker room, these exclusive creations are exhibited during Couture at the Palais de Tokyo, in a scenography signed Bureau Betak. The exhibition also unveils the video and eight photos from the”The Players” series photographed by Alasdair Mclellan and featuring eight muses with diverse personalities including Laetitia Casta, Audrey Marnay, Karidja Touré and Constance Jablonski.
