“THE NEW CHIC”
Masters in the art of reinvention, the Galeries Lafayette have made a clean sweep of the past and have just unveiled, a few days before autumn, their brand new identity on the rooftop of boulevard Haussmann.
Logo, claim, campaign, ambassadors, eshop… it’s all the DNA of the brand that is being transformed with this new part of the Group’s history, after fourteen years punctuated by the Jean-Paul Goude saga, its XXL visuals and its iconic Laetitia Casta. A new ultra-modern breath that highlights a multidisciplinary cast: dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot, musician Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis, Chef Pierre Jancou, tops Camille Rowe and Anais Mali, the truculent Mademoiselle Agnès and the fashion world’s Twins, dancers and choreographers.
So to celebrate the good news, Guillaume Houzé met his guests on the roof of their flagship last Tuesday evening. On the programme: a live performance by Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis, who came with his mother Isabelle Adjani, a live performance by Les Twins, and a triptych reveal choreographed by Claire Tran. There’s no doubt about it, the new chic is here!
