To close the FIAC 2016 week, Yoyo Maeght hosted the exclusive opening of the Aki Kuroda exhibition at the Yeeels restaurant, the address of the trendy Golden Triangle, to present collectors, journalists and writers. Artist currently in the spotlight, only rarely showing his works outside museums, Aki Kuroda was present to dedicate his work recently published by Gallimard. Indeed, the publishing house gave the Japanese painter carte blanche to illustrate Hamlet, thus celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Alongside Yoyo Maeght, columnist Jean-Gabriel Guillet and Franck Valery hosted the event.
