Edgar Sarin, winner of the 3rd Révélations Emerige Revelations Scholarship, was revealed at the opening of the exhibition’ Une Inconnue d’ avance’, gathering the selection of the 12 artists nominated this year. The young winner born in 1989, an energy engineer with a passion for science and mathematics, will benefit from professional support including a one-year workshop and a first solo exhibition at the Michel Rein Gallery, a partner of this edition.
The scholarship, set up by Villa Emerige since 2014, aims to support young artists living in France and not yet represented by a gallery, thus constituting a real springboard to the artistic world. This year’s collective exhibition, designed by curator Gaël Charbau, reflects work rooted in the reality of a generation marked by the 2015 attacks, representing his desires, aspirations and an artistic reflection of our time.
