Balenciaga is entering a new visual era. Photographed by David Sims, “Heart and Body” is more than a campaign; it is a clear statement of intent from creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Showcasing the Summer and Autumn 2026 collections, the campaign foregrounds individuals rather than archetypes to introduce the House’s new brand ambassadors: Winona Ryder, Harris Dickinson and Roh Yoonseo, as well as the new Friend of the House, Canadian actor Hudson Williams. Shot in a Parisian artist’s studio, the images emphasise the dialogue between wearer and garment, conveying a sense of confidence and ease. When a fashion house appoints a new creative director (particularly following a period of major success), it is always a leap into the unknown. With Pierpaolo Piccioli, Balenciaga appears to have found a natural fit: fashion that builds on its legacy, refined with a renewed sense of chic. A first chapter that already feels convincing.
