Evi Keller Takes Over Fondation Florence with Matière-Lumière [Vestiges de la Création]
A visual artist, friend and key figure of the Fondation Florence, Evi Keller is presenting some recent works that take the viewer on a journey exploring light, from the origins of the universe to the depths of our inner selves. Her artistic approach questions the cosmic principle of the transformation of matter by light. In all of her sculptural, pictorial, photographic, sound and performance work, the artist has dedicated herself to this process of transformation. A true universal work, whose elements are gradually revealed, Evi Keller’s Matière-Lumière confronts us with the origins of creation, taken in its most radical sense, when everything was still just fusion, flow, concretion of matter, and flashes of light.
At the opening, we met Olivier Schefer, Deborah Ittah Waintraub, Yasmine Azizi, Noé Weil, among others.
