Hair, Corsets, and Mystery: Ashi Studio Presents a Mesmerizing Collection
An intimate setting, slow and controlled steps, and poses reminiscent of runways from another time: Ashi Studio returns to the Haute Couture scene with its Spring-Summer 26/27 collection entitled “The Beginnings.” A back-to-basics approach, but also an exploration of new materials: this show features Mohammed Ashi’s signature volumes and corsets, combined with hair as a sewing material. In a draped backdrop reminiscent of a cozy bedroom, hair is turned into lingerie with intricate patterns and decorative details on corsets, resulting in mysterious silhouettes. Ashi Studio unveils striking dresses and long skirts in evanescent, feathery, or scaled materials, all designed with accentuated and mesmerizing proportions.
During this otherworldly show, we met Heart Evangelista, Léna Mahfouf, Pritika Swarup, and many others.
