Hublot Unveils A New Limited-Edition Watch by Samuel Ross at Ogata Paris
An master in the Art of Fusion, Hublot hosted a memorable event blending fashion by trailblazing Samuel Ross with sophisticated Michelin-starred Japanese cuisine at Ogata Paris. One of the UK’s rising stars, Samuel Ross excels in both as a fashion designer with his brand A-Cold-Wall and industrial design through his studio SR_A. Recognised with numerous awards (The British Fashion Award for Emerging Menswear Designer, and finalist for the Andam and LVMH Prize in 2018) and for his prestigious collaborations (Nike, Adidas, Oakley, Apple), Ross entered the world of fine watchmaking in 2019, when he won the Hublot Design Prize. Sharing a fascination with innovative materials, the Nyon-based manufacturer entrusted him with the task of reinterpreting its iconic Big Bang model. After two initial editions in orange and then green, Ross and Hublot presented a new creation at the latest Miami Art Week: the Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A by Samuel Ross. This sculptural and aerodynamic piece, limited to 50 pieces, is slim and lightweight, and is now available in a Klein blue shade that got all the audience’s undivided attention.
At the launch event, we crossed paths with Samuel Ross, Shallipopi, Davido, Omah Lay, Sarah Andelman, and many others.
