Weill Writes a New Chapter of its History with Nouvelle Vague

Weill, Paris

Weill presented its Fall-Winter 2026 collection in the sunlit, history-steeped Salon d’Été at the Ritz Paris. The presentation was intended as a moment of style, carried by an elegant and masterful scenography that immediately set the tone for the season: precise, free, and contemporary.

Sometimes a fashion brand’s story isn’t just about its history, but its values. For Weill, fashion is about passing on traditions, seeing things differently, and feeling things deeply. Founded in 1892, this French fashion Maison has stood the test of time thanks to its rare ability to capture the spirit of the times.

Under the leadership of Elie Weill, the fifth generation at the helm of the company, Weill continues its transformation. Its ready-to-wear couture remains faithful to the brand’s DNA, but is resolutely rooted in a free, intuitive, and elegant modernity. Here, tailoring is never static: it complements the body, suggests the silhouette, and creates attitude.

Inspired by an ideal vision of Paris in the 1960s and 1970s, Nouvelle Vague reinvents the Parisian silhouette with instinctive sophistication and confident freedom. Tailoring becomes an attitude. Jackets and coats shape the silhouette with precision, clean lines, and a structured yet never rigid look. Created by Jean-Paul Veison Marcelli, the scenography conveys an effortless elegance in motion, designed for real life.

The iconic tweed jackets stand out as the signature pieces of the collection. They showcase the brand’s expertise: vibrant textures, precise construction, and subtly weighted hems for perfect balance. These are key pieces, designed to be quirky, mismatched, and worn with ease and confidence.

With Nouvelle Vague, Weill asserts a clear vision of feminine luxury: tangible, desirable and modern. A fashion of style, rhythm and allure, in tune with its time without ever losing its identity.
