Christie’s Invites the Kreo Gallery for an Exclusive Carte Blanche

Christie's, Paris

Internationally renowned, the Kreo Gallery exclusively manufactures contemporary pieces in collaboration with the greatest designers of our time. Since 1999, many of these limited-edition works have been added to the collections of major museums around the world.

Christie’s gave this design institution carte blanche for a unique exhibition, ‘kreo: icons of the 21st century.’ Held at the auction house’s Parisian premises, the show brings together iconic pieces by designers such as Marc Newson, Hella Jongerius, Jasper Morrison, Konstantin Grcic, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, and many more. All produced by the Kreo gallery, these exceptional items provide a retrospective look at contemporary design and creation over the last three decades.

In keeping with the spirit of the gallery, which describes itself as a ‘research laboratory’, Christie’s encourages visitors to contemplate a chapter in the history of design and reflect on its future. At the opening, we met founders of the gallery Didier and Clémence Krzentowski, but also Clara Krzentowski, Constance Guisset, Guillaume Bardet, Pierre Charpin, Eric Chesnais and Anh Duong, among others.
