In Milan, this happens too: panettone stops being just a cake and becomes a manifesto. For the third year in a row, Martesana’s Traditional Panettone dresses in gold and returns to the spotlight in a refined couture edition signed by Moschino. It is the Golden Panettone, born in 2023, when fashion and haute patisserie decided to speak the same language—one made of style, irony and savoir-faire.
The recipe remains Martesana’s historic one, crafted with care and time: 48 hours of fermentation with sourdough starter, butter and stone-ground flour, enriched with golden raisins, Italian candied orange and Tahiti vanilla. On top, a Gold chocolate glaze with Piedmont IGP hazelnuts transforms the panettone into a small jewel, closer to a design object than a traditional dessert.
Protecting it is a gold tin hatbox with black polka dots, a clear nod to Moschino’s visual vocabulary and to the maison’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection. Packaging that doesn’t simply contain, but tells a story. A limited edition, of course—because desire, like style, thrives on rarity.
The Golden Panettone is exactly this: a declaration of love to Milan and its unique ability to blend tradition with contemporaneity, taste with imagination. A cake to admire before tasting. And once opened, proof that true elegance can come straight from the oven.
