Bompard Celebrates 40 Years of Elegance at the Mistinguett
In the beautiful setting of the Mistinguett restaurant, located in the heart of the Casino de Paris, Bompard celebrated its 40th anniversary. The brand is paying tribute to its heritage with a capsule collection featuring signature colours and vibrant patterns. Eleven pieces, including hats, scarves, sweaters, and tartan squares, embody the brand’s knitwear expertise without compromising its values: softness, craftsmanship, and understated boldness. The collection is imbued with French elegance, combining ease and style to stand the test of time.
The story begins in 1985 in Paris, when Éric Bompard opened a discreet boutique on Rue Montrosier. His audacious goal was to democratise cashmere, a rare fibre from the Mongolian Plateaus that had, until then, only been available to the elite. His ambition was clear: to provide exceptional material without sacrificing quality or respect for resources. Forty years later, Maison Bompard is an international leader. Far from fleeting trends, it cultivates a smooth, timeless style, well-cut and designed to last. Led by Laurence Levy and under the creative direction of Sophie Arnould-Ferry, the Maison continues to explore all aspects of knitwear (summer cashmere, fine blends, oversized cuts, unisex pieces, etc.).
During this glamorous evening, we met Vassili and Niels Schneider, Sonia Sieff, Pascal K Douglas, Lise Pierron, and many others.
