The Drawer Presents THE PHOTOGRAPHER, A New Thematic Collection
Launched by Sophie Toulouse and Barbara Soyer in 2011, the editorial and curatorial platform The Drawer gives contemporary creators a voice through a biannual publication dedicated to design. This year, the eponymous issue is enriched by a new series imagined by Julie Watier: THE PHOTOGRAPHER. Based on the theme of family, the very first edition brings together contributions from around thirty artists whose work explores the photographic medium and its boundaries. As part of Paris Photo, THE PHOTOGRAPHER 1 was unveiled on Wednesday 12th, under the glass roof of the Grand Palais. There, we met Jean-Michel André, Zoé Bernardi, Deanna Dikeman, Lee Schulman and many others.
