Some collaborations don’t just work, they become conversations between icons. This is the case with Barbour and Baracuta, two brands that have written distinct chapters in British fashion and now, in their third season together, continue to reinvent their archetypes with ease and intelligence. For 2025, the new collection is inspired by the Northern Soul movement, the clubs of Northern England where people danced until dawn. The spirit is the same: authentic, direct, and unfussy.
The G9 Harrington, a timeless symbol of Baracuta, is crafted from 8 oz waxed cotton using Barbour’s expertise and lined with Fraser Tartan, as if two aesthetic codes—urban and rural—were shaking hands in the rain. The result is a jacket designed to last, yet capable of telling stories of the streets and clubs, of British style and survival. Alongside it, a new Barbour Bedale Jacket, shorter and sportier, with ribbed inserts on the sleeves and hem: a contemporary remix that brings tradition to the urban street. Completing the collection are chunky sweaters, sturdy overshirts, functional trousers, and a series of waxed accessories.
