The CNAP Hosts a Performance-Dinner for the Closing of the Exhibition “Arman, All That Remains”

Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois, Paris

Twenty years after Arman’s death, the Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois Gallery presents “Arman, All That Remains”, a major retrospective curated by Bernard Blistène, former director of the Centre Pompidou. Rather than following a chronological order, the exhibition reflects the artist’s work: eclectic, enigmatic, and almost chaotic. Built from accumulations of discarded everyday objects, these installations reveal an inner structural force that prompts us to reconsider the world around us. The exhibition also marks the 65th anniversary of the signing of the New Realists’ manifesto, the movement to which Arman belonged.

As the exhibition drew to a close, the gallery seized the moment to host a dinner with the help of the CNAP on October 27th. The evening, which also coincided with Nathalie Vallois’ birthday, featured a performance by Daniel Spoerri, Un coup de dés n’abolira jamais le hasard (A roll of the dice will never abolish chance), along with a bespoke menu by Laurent Roger. Welcomed by Georges-Philippe Vallois and Marianne, guests in attendance included Bernard Blistène, Sophie Fontanel, Olivier Dacourt, Aurélien Véron and many others.
