Parfums de Marly Unveils Three New Fragrances at the Plaza Athénée

Plaza Athénée, Paris

Parfums de Marly’s popularity shows no sign of waning! Last night, the brand unveiled a trio of fragrances inspired by the Château de Marly and the 18th century. In the intimate and secluded cellar of the Plaza Athénée, where the most precious wines in Paris are stored, a select few were treated to an experience combining both worlds.

The collection pays tribute to French craftsmanship and excellence through three distinct fragrances: Carios, Eragon, and Valero. The first one, Carios, is intended for today’s leaders and combines amber fougère with notes of blood orange, thyme, and roasted tonka bean. The second fragrance, Eragon, draws inspiration from a contemporary Sun King and features spicy amber, patchouli, vanilla, and cinnamon notes. Finally, with its woody fougère scent combining bourbon geranium, lavender, sandalwood, and ambroxide, Valero draws on its noble roots to express a more carefree modernity.

The bottles of the collection boast a rounded, tapered design made of crystal glass, and engraved with a faceted 3D horse profile. Each cap is also decorated with a specially-engraved motif which echoes the architecture of the Château de Marly (Clous de Paris for Carios, Course du Soleil for Eragon, chevrons for Valero). To top it all off, the campaign created by Guillaume Mille establishes a dialogue between the 18th century and today’s trends.

During this special moment, we met Enzo Lefort, Corentin Huard, Marc Kuakumensah, and many others.
