Barbour x ARKET: British Elegance and Nordic Minimalism in a Fall Capsule Collection

The North meets English heritage in a capsule collection reminiscent of the sea and the woods. The new collaboration between the Swedish brand and the historic British outerwear house celebrates the intersection of two outdoor lifestyles—Scandinavian essentiality and British country elegance—merging them in a limited collection of functional and timeless pieces.

Shot among the cliffs and villages of Gotland, a Swedish island bathed in the Baltic Sea, the campaign captures the soul of this collaboration: a dialogue between technical materials and clean silhouettes, the salty air of the North and the waxy scent of Barbour jackets. The collection features exclusive reissues of waxed jackets, such as the legendary 1960 Gamefair Parka, along with new styles in shades of forest green, navy blue, and black, designed for layering and outdoor living.

“Revisiting our archives with ARKET’s Nordic perspective has allowed us to create something both familiar and surprising,” says Ian Bergin, Director of Menswear at Barbour. “A tribute to the rhythms and landscapes of the North,” adds Ella Soccorsi, Head of Design at ARKET.
