Polène Unveils its ‘Atelier de Curiosités’ during Fashion Week
On Friday evening, Polène unveiled its ‘Atelier de curiosités’ (Curiosity Workshop), a new 100m² experiential space nestled inside its Champs-Élysées boutique. This workshop offers a unique glimpse behind the scenes of the creation of the Maison’s bags and jewellery. The visit, which is free upon reservation, provides a complete immersion in the manufacturing process. A monumental light structure follows the steps of making a bag, along with a demo of specific craft techniques like topstitching, die cutting, the use of the ‘patacabra’ tool, and the ‘Music Box’ that shows off Polène’s designs. The experience also appeals to the senses, particularly the sense of smell with the distinctive scent of leather. Innovation is in the spotlight with the ‘Plèi bricks’ technique, a circular initiative that makes use of leather scraps.
