The Free-Flowing Silhouettes of Giambattista Valli’s Spring Collection
As always in Giambattista Valli’s collections, the emphasis is on volume and pastel hues. For his Spring/Summer 2026 show, the fashion designer pays tribute to nature in all its glory, with a decor featuring baskets filled with fruit and flowers. Valli’s signature feminine wardrobe is back again with floral patterns and dresses with flowing ruffles made of taffeta and organza. This time, they are paired with loose-fitting trousers, apron dresses, shirts and farmer-style headscarves. Using linen and cotton for even more pastoral authenticity, Valli brought a bucolic atmosphere to Fashion Week. It was a much-needed moment of tranquillity amid the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week.
We met Heloise Agostinelli, Balquees Fathi, Emilia Mernes, Sophia Hammons.
