Jean Jullien’s Delicate Drawings Embellish the Perfume Odéon by MEMO
A heavenly scent spread through the Théâtre de l’Odéon last night. Founded in 2007, MEMO Paris sees perfumes as travel notes. Those that preserve the memory of a journey to unique destinations and precious ingredients, to be rediscovered and experienced anew each time. Scented notes to be worn on the skin like an open book, to instantly reactivate the beauty of a place, a moment, a sensation. With its unique scents, Memo Paris evokes a sensitive and emotionally rich world. In collaboration with French artist Jean Jullien, MEMO is launching a new interpretation of its signature fragrance, Odéon, adding a unique touch to its collections.
Jean Jullien is an artist who enjoys observing people and their interactions with their environment. He captures the spirit of the times in his paintings of landscapes and skies, as well as in his drawings, which display a delicate sense of situation. A character resembling himself often reappears in his work, enjoying moments captured on the spot.
For the Odéon fragrance, he designed the motif of the new limited-edition bottle, which features the rosy hues of a Parisian sky and his signature illustrations. Embodying the spirit of the flâneur, he strolls through the streets of Paris, moved by the beauty of a morning in the city, its delicacy and lightness.
At the launch evening, we had the pleasure of meeting the cofounders of MEMO, Clara and John Molloy, alongside Jean Jullien, Harry Nuriev, Sarah Andelman, Willy Cartier, and Thomas Lélu, to name but a few.
