Mobilier National Unveils the Winners of the 2025 Prix Mobilier National Jeune Création
To mark the official launch of Paris Design Week on Wednesday, September 3rd, Mobilier national unveiled the winners of the 2025 Prix Mobilier National Jeune Création in partnership with the Campus des Métiers d’Art, Mode & Design. Aiming to promote intercultural dialogue while celebrating French craftsmanship, this edition invited young talents to design the decor and ornamentation for the reception areas of the Institut Français d’Amérique Latine (IFAL) in Mexico City. The projects of the four finalists are on display at the Galerie des Gobelins from September 4th to 7th, 2025.
At the same time, Mobilier national presented its latest partnerships with Duvivier Canapés and Source Édition for the production of iconic pieces from its collections. The evening was also highlighted by the signing of a historic agreement between the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Institut français and Manufactures nationales.
In the presence of France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, the event featured speeches by Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, Chief of Staff to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Aurélien Lechevallier, President of Manufactures Nationales Hervé Lemoine, Director of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs Emmanuel Tibloux, and the award winners.
