Jacques Solovière Inaugurates a New Boutique on the Rive Droite
After a first store on Rue du Cherche Midi in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, Jacques Solovière is opening a brand new boutique on the Rive Droite, located at 3 Rue Molière. The brand is run by Alexia Aubert, an elegant Parisian in her forties, who borrowed her grandfather’s name to launch her first collection of men’s shoes in 2014. A decade later, it’s still going strong.
On the outside, the Haussmann-style façade with classical lines gives the building a strong architectural heritage, in keeping with the visual refinement that inspires Jacques Solovière. Inside, light is paramount: it circulates freely, enhancing the volumes and highlighting the natural materials. The boutique’s design favours clean lines, continuous surfaces and an avoidance of artifice. Conceived as a quiet, uncluttered cocoon, just like the company’s creations, the space has a ‘seamless’ approach. Custom-made furniture, matt textures and soothing tones interact with the shoes on display, in a simple but meaningful setting.
At the inauguration of this iconic venue, in the middle of Fashion Week, we met Steve Gonzales, Enzo Lefort, Oneil Gardner and Kevin Bourgade.
