Independent shoe brand Caulaincourt is giving a second lease of life to the salmon skins from Petrossian’s production by transforming them into a fine, rare and sustainable leather. Made in Italy, in the Marche region, the CP One sneaker combines exceptional craftsmanship and environmentally responsible innovation: calfskin and salmon leather, both vegetable-tanned, leather lining and removable insole, light and robust natural rubber sole, and stitched assembly make this a resoleable sneaker. Thanks to the savoir-faire of Ictyos, a young company based in Lyon specialising in the tanning of fish skins, salmon leather is supple, hard-wearing, visually distinctive and odour- and allergen-free.
