Jodie Foster Makes a Big Comeback in “Vie Privée”
The plot is admittedly intriguing: when renowned psychiatrist Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster) hears of the death of one of her patients, she believes it’s murder. Troubled, she decides to investigate. In addition to the most French of American actresses, director Rebecca Zlotowski reunites with Virginie Efira, who starred in her previous film, “Les Enfants des autres” (2022). Daniel Auteuil, Mathieu Amalric and Vincent Lacoste round out the prestigious cast. The out-of-competition film will be available in cinemas next autumn, and we look forward to it! In the meantime, we enjoyed the packed red carpet, proof that the scenario appealed to many. Among them were Adrien Brody, Toni Garrn, Scarlett Johansson and many others.
