Ligne Roset x Origine Fraxion GTR: The Little Queen and Her Sofa

Even if you’re not the cycling type, this little queen feels almost like a design object worth a place in your living room, right beside your sofa. The idea for the collaboration sprang during a photoshoot at the home of Yves Amiel—co-founder of Origine and a true enthusiast of design, beautiful objects, and contemporary architecture, just like his partner Rémi Lefèvre. Staged by the Ligne Roset brand magazine, the shoot not only marked the launch of the Kashima sofa, but also that of a natural partnership. As conversations unfolded between Antoine and Olivier Roset (Ligne Roset’s managing directors), Yves Amiel, and Rémi Lefèvre, ideas flowed, desires overlapped, and visions aligned. A flagship model of the d’Origine road line, the Fraxion GTR is designed for speed, responsiveness and precision. Ligne Roset lent its distinctive craftsmanship to the project, applying ten Pantone shades to the frames, wheels, and seatposts, along with meticulous leatherwork—coverings and stitching on the handlebar tape and saddles included. A true meeting of audiences, or just a stylish lap around the track? Time will tell.
